In January 2019, Sapura E&P formed a strategic partnership with OMV, under a new associate entity – SapuraOMV Upstream. The partnership has identified Malaysia as its hub to expand into Asia Pacific, and its combined strengths and expertise will pave the way for SapuraOMV Upstream to become a leading global independent oil and gas company.
