WORKING EXPERIENCE: Muhammad Zamri Jusoh is the Group CEO Designate of Sapura Energy Berhad, effective 1 March 2025. In his current capacity, he is focused on ensuring a seamless leadership transition and continuity in the Group’s business plans and restructuring efforts. Zamri brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including his role as Chief Executive Officer of SapuraOMV Upstream Sdn. Bhd. since July 2019. Under his leadership, SapuraOMV became one of the region’s largest independent oil and gas companies, achieving significant portfolio growth and operational success. Prior to SapuraOMV, Zamri served as Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management at PETRONAS, where he oversaw national petroleum policies, resource management, and industry development to secure Malaysia’s energy needs. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Asia Pacific Regional Advisory Council and the Offshore Technology Conference Asia 2024 Advisory Committee. Zamri holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University and has completed executive programmes at INSEAD and the Kellogg School of Management.
