WORKING EXPERIENCE: Nasri Mehat is currently the Officer-in-Charge of Sapura Energy Berhad, providing interim leadership during the Group’s transition period until 1 March 2025. He also holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer of Operations & Maintenance and Senior Vice President, Group Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE), roles he has assumed since April 2021 and May 2023, respectively. Nasri’s career with Sapura Energy began in 2010 when he joined Kencana Pinewell Sdn Bhd (now Sapura Pinewell Sdn Bhd) as General Manager of Topside Major Maintenance. He was promoted to Senior General Manager in 2014 and later became the Head of the Hook-up & Commissioning Division in 2018. With over 33 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, Nasri specialises in the oil and gas sector. His expertise spans leadership, project management, and contract management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering diverse projects, including infrastructure, power plants, pipelines, crude oil pumping and heating stations, offshore and onshore facilities, fabrication works, and brownfield rejuvenation. Before joining Sapura Energy, Nasri served as General Manager of Operations at Nam Fatt Corporation Bhd, where he managed the company’s projects in Sudan. His extensive career has seen him work across Malaysia, North Africa, and Europe, gaining invaluable experience in managing complex and large-scale operations. ACADEMIC/ PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
