Sapura Energy Berhad and its group of companies today announced its financial results for the third quarter ended 31 October 2022, recording profit after tax and minority interests of RM10 million, on the back of positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation of RM246 million, and revenue of RM1.28 billion.

Sapura Energy Berhad announced two new appointments to their Executive Committee, effective 14 November 2022. Dominique de Soras has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sapura Energy’s Engineering & Construction business, while Norzaimah Maarof has been announced as the new Group General Counsel.

Sapura Energy Berhad is pleased to announce that a joint venture company under its Engineering and Construction (E&C) segment has been awarded an extension of a charter and service contract by Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) in Brazil. The two-year contract extension, for its pipe laying support vessel (PLSV) Sapura Esmeralda, is valued at approximately RM580 million.

Sapura Energy Berhad and its group of companies announced positive financial results in the first quarter of financial year 2023 (Q1 FY2023), posting Group profit after tax and minority interests (PATAMI) of RM92 million, on the back of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of RM250 million and revenue of RM886 million.

Sapura Energy Berhad wishes to announce that its Drilling and Engineering & Construction (E&C) business segments, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries and joint-venture, have secured six major contract wins in Asia Pacific and Atlantic region, with a combined value of RM2.7 billion, of which RM176 million contributed by its joint venture company.

Sapura Energy Berhad wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sapura 3000 Private Limited has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with Safeen Feeder Company – Sole Proprietorship LLC, a company in the Abu Dhabi Ports Group of Companies, for the disposal of its pipe-laying and crane vessel known as Sapura 3000 for a total cash consideration of USD71.5 million or approximately RM312.8 million.

Sapura Energy Berhad today announced the appointment of Dato’ Mohammad Azlan Abdullah as its new chairman, effective 7 May 2022. Dato’ Mohammad Azlan succeeds Tan Sri Shamsul Azhar Abbas, who is retiring on the same day, upon reaching the age of 70. Dato’ Mohammad Azlan, aged 54, was first appointed to the Sapura Energy Board on 1 October 2019 as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director.

Sapura Energy Berhad today announced its unaudited preliminary full year results for the financial year ended 31 January 2022 (FY2022), posting a loss after taxation and minority interests (LATAMI) of RM8.9 billion. The Group recorded an operating loss of RM2.2 billion on the back of RM4.1 billion revenue.
